The Tardigrade is a microscopic creature that is able to survive in the world's most hostile environments. It is so well adapted and hardy that is can (and has) survived in the vacuum of space and the bottom of the Mariana Trench. My question is will humans ever harness the adaptive attributes or develop the technology to utilize or mimic the Tardigrades hardiness and will this technology finally aid us enough to explore the unknowns of both the Earth and space?. I really want to learn more about this fascinating creature.
